Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the One Point Legal Services website and your interaction with us when requesting information, quotations, consultations, document services, or other services.

By using this website, contacting us, submitting documents, requesting a service, or making payment, you agree to these Terms and Conditions unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.

About One Point Legal Services

One Point Legal Services provides legal services support in the UAE, including legal consultations, litigation support coordination, document attestation, notary-related services, legal translation coordination, trademark registration support, and corporate legal support.

Website use

You agree to use the website lawfully and responsibly. You must not misuse the website, submit false information, upload harmful files, attempt unauthorised access, copy content unlawfully, or interfere with website operation.

No automatic engagement

Submitting a form, sending a message, or contacting us does not automatically create a client relationship or confirm that we have accepted your matter. A service begins only when the scope, requirements, fees, and payment arrangements are confirmed by us in writing or through agreed communication channels.

Legal information and consultations

Website information is general and does not replace a paid legal consultation. If you need advice for a specific legal issue, you should book a consultation and provide all relevant documents and facts.

Client responsibilities

  • Provide complete, accurate, current, and lawful information.
  • Provide clear copies and originals where required.
  • Disclose deadlines, intended use, destination country, receiving authority, and special wording requirements.
  • Review drafts, names, numbers, passport details, trade licence details, property details, and other information before approval.
  • Make payments on time and respond to requests for clarification.

Quotations, fees, and payments

Fees depend on the service type, urgency, document type, number of parties, authority requirements, government fees, courier fees, translation fees, notary fees, and third-party charges. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, fees must be paid before service execution.

Government, notary, embassy, courier, bank, payment gateway, and third-party charges may change or may be added if required by the relevant authority or service provider.

Refunds and cancellations

Refund eligibility depends on the service status, costs already incurred, third-party fees paid, drafting or review work completed, appointment booking, submissions made, and authority charges. Once work has started, documents have been drafted, third-party fees have been paid, or submissions have been made, refunds may be limited or unavailable.

Timelines

Timelines are estimates unless expressly confirmed in writing. Delays may occur due to authority availability, notary schedules, government portals, embassy processing, courier delays, missing documents, client response time, payment delays, translation requirements, or technical issues.

Third-party authorities and providers

Many services depend on third parties, including courts, notaries, ministries, government departments, embassies, consulates, banks, free zones, translators, couriers, and payment providers. We do not control their decisions, acceptance, timing, fees, system availability, or requirements.

Document acceptance

We may assist with preparing, reviewing, translating, attesting, notarising, submitting, or delivering documents. However, final acceptance by a receiving authority, bank, embassy, government department, court, foreign authority, or private institution is outside our control unless expressly guaranteed in a written agreement.

Intellectual property

Website content, page layouts, service descriptions, graphics, branding, and written materials are owned by or licensed to One Point Legal Services. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, or commercially use website content without written permission.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, One Point Legal Services will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or loss-of-profit damages arising from website use, delays, third-party decisions, inaccurate client information, rejected documents, or reliance on general website information.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the United Arab Emirates, subject to any mandatory rules of the competent courts or authorities.
